Maintenance and refurbishment of a.c. generators

Refurbishing the exciter sets of the EDF thermal power stations, with 250, 600 and 700MW units.
Maintenance and refurbishment of all the power generation equipment making it possible to supply the rotors (revolving field) of the main a.c. generators of the thermal power stations (coal and/or fuel oil), with a capacity ranging from 250MW to 700MW.
The services carried out range from major servicing to mechanical and electrical reconstruction work.

Installation of DeNOx in diesel power plants

EDF SEI (Island Electrical System)
Engineering and completing the electrical, automation and monitoring & control work packages for the SCR denitrification facilities: catalyser, cleaning system, pollutant measuring system, urea storage and injection system.

General Electrical Installations (GEI)

SEPGCO JORDAN : SAMRA 2 Combustion Turbine
Within the framework of the SAMRA 2 project for SEPGCO (Samra Electric Power Generating Co.) in JORDAN for the provision of a 123.4 MW CT (Combustion Turbine), CLEMESSY carried out the following on behalf of GE : the engineering, purchases, erection and commissioning of the electrical installation for the gas turbine.
The supplies primarily concerned the following:

  • 1 auxiliary transformer (30 MVA)
  • gen set circuit breaker – 15kV 4500A bus duct
  • Auxiliary transformers
  • 6.6 kV board
  • 400V site distribution boards
  • Site power distribution.


STEG TUNISIA : THYNA 3 & FERIANA 2 electrical power stations.

Within the framework of the THYNA 3 & FERIANA 2 project for STEG in TUNISIA for the provision of 2 CTs (Combustion Turbines) with a capacity of 123.4 MW, CLEMESSY carried out the following on behalf of GE : the engineering, purchases, erection and commissioning of the electrical installation for the gas turbine.

National Water & Electricity Company Ltd (NAWEC) – Gambia
Engineering and "turnkey" completion of the diesel power plant comprising 18 gen sets ranging from 60 to 600 kW.

Diesel power plant electrical Balance Of Plant (BOP)

EDF PEI (Island Electricity Production)
Engineering and completing general electrical installations, monitoring & control of the new diesel power plants for the French overseas departments and Corsica within the framework of the Man-Eiffage-Clemessy Consortium led by Man Diesel.
Total : 54 Diesel engines with a capacity of 18.2 MW each.
For each of the power plants, Clemessy will perform the design and integration work for:

  • connecting the power plants to the distribution grid
  • the monitoring & control system for the power plants and their outbuildings
  • ensuring the safety of the site
  • the direct current system and
  • uninterruptible power supply systems
  • the emergency generator sets

Systems for measuring gaseous discharges

EDF DPIT (Thermal Engineering and Production Department)
Maintenance of the systems for measuring atmospheric discharges of the thermal power plants in France, Corsica and the French Overseas Departments.
Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on all the emission measurement analysers, whatever the make of equipment.

Maintenance

EDF DPIT : maintenance on systems for measuring atmospheric discharges from thermal power plants
EDF awarded SECAUTO 3 contracts to carry out maintenance on systems designed to measure atmospheric discharges from thermal power plants:

  • Framework contract for the thermal power plants in mainland France
  • Framework contract for the Bastia and Ajaccio power plants on Corsica
  • Framework contract for the French Overseas Department power plants in Martinique, Guadeloupe and French Guiana.


These contracts consist in carrying out the preventive and corrective maintenance on all the emissions measurement analysers, whatever the make of the equipment.
The main objective being to ensure the availability of the equipment in accordance with the regulations (EN NF 14181), ministerial and prefectoral decrees in force.
In order to achieve this, SECAUTO implements a organisation making it possible to perform the maintenance at intervals in line with the specific requirements of each site.
Indicators are used in particular to monitor the criteria in terms of the availability of the equipment, the quality and safety of the work and services carried out.
